xliv, 546 pages of text followed by [1] page of publisher's advertisement. Rebound simply in cloth, which has minor sunning to the spine and minimal shelfwear. The text is profoundly affected by staining, discoloration and foxing, and much rather charming period notations, but is complete and intact. Illustrated with a frontisportrait, portrait of Harrington, and a plate regarding the manner and use of the ballot. Some pages are attached to stubs which were bound in when the book was rebound. First edition.
