One-page typed letter, on Glenn's personal stationery and dated May 10, 1971, signed by John Glenn. This is a great letter for a math person as Glenn is answering a question posed in the letter of someone training to be an educator (copy included). In the letter, Glenn states "My comment on the value of math would be that it is at the heart of all th physical things we produce..." Folded in thirds where to fit in an envelope; mailing envelope is not present.
