[viii], 21 pages of text. Original hardcover leatherette binding with minor shelfwear, including a tiny bump to the top corner, and with weakening of the color lettering printed on the front cover. The front cover has an inset color engraving with gouache and watercolor highlights, pencil signed and dated by the illustrator, Ian Hugo. Number 26 of 50 copies signed by Anais Nin on the limitation page, and additionally illustrated with three black-and-white engraved plates, each signed and dated by the Ian Hugo (pseudonym of Nin's husband, Hugh Parker Guiler). Measures 16.75" (height) by 12.5". There are a few tiny spots of discoloration in the margins of the text which appear to be inherent with the paper manufacture and not staining. Limited and rare edition.
