Hardcover; bound with about 50 blank leaves at rear, in three-quarter brown morocco (leather) binding. Marbled paper covered boards, in green, tan and black. Raised bands and gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Hinges are tight, and binding shows minor wear to extremities. An attractive Dickens item.
