Two volumes in the original 19th century binding. A tall 8vo at 9-1/4 inches. Marbled paper-covered boards with some shelfwear. Leather is somewhat worn, with chipping to the extremities of spine, and weakening to hinges, including a detached front board of volume one. Complete with three portraits, although the portrait of Mrs. Sheridan which should face page 192 in volume one is bound in facing page one. Minor ink staining to front endpaper of volume one. One leaf of publisher's advertisement bound in at end of text in volume one.
