Incomplete copy; lacking four pages of text (pages 51-55) just preceding the last leaf of text/publisher's advertisement. Foote built and managed the new Haymarket Theatre 1767-77. He lost his leg due to a hunting accident in 1766. Three sewing perforations on the inside margin, never affecting the text. Measures 8-5/8" tall. Minimal age-toning and shelfwear to first and last pages, with minor scattered foxing. Several signatures (gatherings of pages) are loose or detached, in need of resewing.
