Buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago. Founder (1894) of the Civic Federation of Chicago (tax reform organization). Vice president of First National Bank, Chicago, and a founder of the American Bankers Association and president of the ABA 1883 to 1886. 3.5 inch wide and 2.25 inch tall card, signed boldly "Lyman J Gage." On the card is written "12/01" at the bottom left edge. An attractive example of this signature.
