Hinges have been repaired with aesthetically appropriate and archival materials (Japanese tissue) tinted to match leather. New spine labels. Vol. I: [ii] title, [viii] preface, [ii] advertisement, [xii] Table of Citations, [xviii] Contents, [vi] List of Subscribers, 356 pages of text. Vol. II: [ii] title page, 357-708 pages of text, followed by [l (50 pages)] of index. Moderate rubbing and aging to binding, but remaining attractive and intact.
