[iv], 36 pages of text, followed by [20] pages of index, followed by and engraved title page and 116 engraved plates with multiple images on almost every plate. Contains approximately 700 images. Leather binding is very worn and boards are detached. First 5 pages with minor loss of text from old insect damage. Title page browned at edges, and most of the text is slightly stained. Staining does not affect the engraved plates except for the final one. Approximately With two engraved armorial bookplates of previous owners: of Thomas Reginald St. Johnston; and another unidentified bookplate. Previous owner name Wm. Rawlins on inside of rear board.
