Modern (circa 1930) hardcover binding of cloth and marbled paper with minor shelfwear and soiling. Title page and final page is browned, with a few small ink stains. Minor soiling scattered throughout text. Bottom margin trimmed close to text. Measures just over 8 inches in height. Dedicatory verse written by Dryden. First quire misbound, causing the Prologue to be incorrectly placed. Partly based on La Calprenede's Cassandra.
