Illustrated with over 100 in-text figures, and one fold-out plate. Previous owner's name on front endpaper "J. H. Kedzie" [John Hume Kedzie (1815-1903)] the author of "Solar Heat, Gravitation, and Sun Spots." There are a few pencil notations in text, presumably by Kedzie, such as underlining a sentence and stating "absurd."
