Three volume set. Vol. I (1909): xxxviii, 353 pages, followed by 35 pages of publisher's advertisment. Vol. II (1912): [vi], 371 pages. Vol. III (1915): x, 271 pages. Original blue stamped hardcover binding with gilt spine lettering and front cover gilt stamp of the ship "Victoria." Minimal rubbing to extremities with a few minor bumps to corners; protected in custom stiff archival mylar. The set is illustrated with two maps, a folding plan, and 6 plates. Numerous pages uncut and unopened. Endpapers and adjacent page are moderately browned. Second Series, Nos. 19, 20 and 39. Composed in the form of letters and first published in 1698. Contains chapters on Indian history and customs, coins weights and precious stones, etc.
