21 pages including one page of publisher's advertisement. Original orange printed paper wrappers and slightly rubbed and soiled, with previous owner's name neatly in ink on front cover. Front cover is mostly detached, and there is a small chip out of the rear wrapper. Contains eight black & white illustrations including the frontisportrait; illustrations are by S. Eytinge, Jr. Protected in a slipcase with a red leather spine, which has minor shelfwear and has the title, author and date in gilt on the spine.
