Inscribed and signed by the author as Pierrot on the front endpaper "To my dear Laurie's cousin - .... from Pierrot Jan 3rd 1941." Rumry wrote under pseudonyms "Pierrot" and "Lynette" and wrote "Songs for Lynn." Her poems were published in "Contemporary Verse," "Current Opinion," "College Humor," Chicago Daily Tribune" and "Pen and Pad." Previous owner's name neatly on front endpaper.
