A small thick card, measuring 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches, signed in ink "James A. Beaver Harrisburg Pa 4 March 1887." James Addams Beaver (1837-1914) was Governor of Pennsylvania 1887-1991. He was a General in the Union Army during the Civil War, and lost a leg in the battle of Ream's Station, August 24, 1864.
