Each engraved leaf is engraved on one side only. Original full leather binding is moderately worn on the exterior hinges and extremities, with minor warping of front board. Front endpapers are lacking. Minor staining to the fore-edge of the majority of pages, affecting the margins only. Minor foxing scattered throughout, in several instances affecting the plates.
