Bacon Identified as the Concealed Poet Ignoto A.D. 1589-1600: 48 pages of text, bound with the front wrapper. First edition, 1886. Published by W. H. Burr, Washington D.C. III: WHO WROTE SHAKESPEARE? Aye there's the rub: 52 pages of text, bound with the front wrapper. First edition, 1887. Published by David Stott, London. Handwritten on a preliminary page "with the publisher's compliments." Contains eleven sketches by Lyall printed in orange ink. IV: WILL SHAKESPEARE, TOM PAINE, BOB INGERSOLL AND CHARLIE BRADLAUGH: 32 pages of text. First edition, 1890. Published by R. Forder, London. This volume is bound in maroon hardcover cloth, which is moderately sunned on the spine and top edge, with minor rubbing and shelfwear. Inner hinges are weakened, but remain intact and functional. Spine title reads "Shakespeare Pamphlets." There are a few pages that are creased at the top corner, several with small spots of staining, and there is minimal shelfwear and soiling. Several of these pamphlets are rarely offered on the market. Previous owner's name neatly on the rear endpaper.
