First edition. Contains over 300 illustrations. Included is a 15-line typed letter on Theatre Guild letterhead, dated February 29, 1960, signed by Lawrence Langner. It is a response to a letter sent to him, commenting on his book. "I appreciate very much what you have to say and the way you said it." Includes the original mailing envelope.
