Beautiful folding map of Missouri, printed in 1878, a reprinting the 1872 impression. Original brown protective case with minimal shelfwear, remaining quite clean and bright. The interior Census paste-down page is clean and bright; minor separation of endpaper near the hinge. Exterior edges of the map are slightly soiled, with a few tiny spots of staining, which do not affect the reverse image area. A few folds of the map have minimal browning, but the original hand-color is bright and attractive. There are a few minor creases from slight misfolding, and a few corners have a tiny almost unnoticable tear.
