Original paperback binding has a small tear (repaired) at the top of the spine, and moderate shelfwear and soiling to the rear cover. The closed page edges are moderately foxed, although this does not affect the text or illustrations. The entirety of the text is Japanese. The inside front cover and front endpaper has a large original inscription in broad brush strokes by Munakata. Included is what is believed to be a ticket stub to the exhibition where this catalogue was sold and embellished by the artist. The text is clean and unmarked. First edition.
