Includes a biography and a bibliography. The author was the Director and Chief Curator at the Centre of Asian Art and Culture of The Avery Brundage Collection. The front cover has an ink notation by the previous owner. Several pages of text have small ink marks in the margin, but the illustrations are clean and unmarked. First edition.
