A large black & white photograph, inscribed and signed "To Mr. J. Roda Sincerely G. Rimini." There is no date; circa 1935. The photo measures approximately 8 inches (height) by 10 inches tall. Giacomo Rimini (1887 - 1952) was an Italian-born, naturalized-American operatic baritone. The dedicatee of the photograph is Joseph Roda who was a violinist with the Chicago Grand Opera Company from 1933 to 1935. The CGOC became the Chicago City Opera Company, where Rimini had a well established performance relationship. Roda went on to publish an extremely significant reference book titled "Bows for Musical Instruments of the Violin Family."
