One page letter on the Hammersley Hill stationery of Lowell Thomas, dated October 5, 1960. Includes the original mailing envelope, addressed to Col. William Hodapp, New York University, Communication Arts Group, Washington Square, NY. It reads "Greetings Bill! Since I last saw you, I've been in motion much of the time, including a dozen or more jaunts around the globe. That undoubtedly sounds like madness. But, I've been away on a variety of expeditions, and most of them took me to regions in Africa and Asia..." Folded into sixths, with minor soiling. A few green ink marks edit one word of text, and the typed letter is signed "Lowell" in green ink.
