Original blue paper-covered publisher's boards, with tan paper-covered spine; binding is rubbed, worn and chipped, remaining intact and attractive and protected in archival mylar. Illustrated with a fold-out map titled "Map of the Falls of the Ohio, and the Adjoining Counties. Engraved for McMurtries Sketches." This map has been archivally mended at two folds, repairing very minimal loss. The map is discolored where it is attached to the book. Complete with the map and a fold-out table. The text is evenly and lightly to moderately foxed. One of the two original rear endpapers are lacking and the remaining endpaper is torn with loss. The title continues "...exhibiting their Generic, Specific, and Vulgar English Names. To which is Added an Appendix, Containing an accurate Account of the Earthquakes experienced here from the 16th December, 1811, to the 7th February, 1812, extracted principally from the Papers of the late J.
