Vol. I: viii, 510 pages. Vol. II: [iv], 558 pages of text including an index, followed by [ii] pages of publisher's advertisement. Title continues "...Including Numerous Original Anecdotes and Curious Traits of the Most Celebrated Characters that Have Flourished During the Last Eighty Years." The first edition was printed in 1828, and this unstated later printing was printed in 1830.
