68 pages of text. Original paperback binding has two small chips, and is slightly browned at the edges. Illustrated with a frontispiece, plates, and in-text portraits and maps, and a fold-out battle plan. The text is clean and unmarked. The title continued "The offical records of both parties to the conflict; to which is added memoirs of participants with maps and cuts." Includes "Recollections of the battle, by Col. B.T. Van Horn", the same by Capt. Joseph A. Wilson, "Official Report of General Harris" and the same by Gen. Rains, Gen. Parsons, Gen M'Bride, Gen. Steen, Col. Hughes, Col Rives, Col. Jackson, Lieut.-Col. Boyd, Maj. Winston, Maj. Thornton, and Surgeon E.H.C. Bailey. Previous owner's name neatly on the back of the frontis. Not in Broadfoot. First edition.
