Inscribed and signed by Anais Nin on the front endpaper to Princeton, Library of Congress and Cooper Union Museum librarian "For Richard Ely Morse the poet and painter with friendly greetings [signed] Anais Nin New York 1944." Additionally signed and inscribed by Ian Hugo who engraved the copper plates from which the covers and seventeen engravings were printed "For Richard Ely Morse one of the few who were with us when all this was beginning [signed] Ian Hugo. A period magazine photograph of Anais Nin is neatly affixed to the blank endpaper facing the inscription page. Includes a printed folding prospectus/book order form/invitation to the opening of the exhibit of Ian Hugo's work at the Wakefield Book Shop in New York is included; Carl Zigrosser wrote the introduction on this announcement.
