Minor to moderate shelfwear and soiling to the bindings, including some scuffing and minor staining, and minor toning/browning to the spines. Contains dozens of plates, many of which are tipped-in. Vol. I: xvi, 114 pages. Vol. II: viii, 115-254 including an index. To the rear cover of Vol. II is affixed an envelope into which are enclosed 12 facsimiles of handwritten letters and notes.
