An 8" x 10" black-and-white photographic portrait of Felix Frankfurter in judicial robe, with photographer embossed stamp. Signed and inscribed on the bottom margin "For Herbert A. Friedlich with the warm regares of his friend [signed] Felix Frankfurter June 23, [19]43." Austrian born, Felix Frankfurter (1882-1965) was Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court (1939-1962). Minor imperfections to the photo. Minor paper residue on the back of the photograph.
