Four volume set. Bound in full gilt-stamped vellum with green string-ties fully intact. Protected in two matching quarter leather slipcases. Number 146 of 500 copies printed on handmade Riccardi paper. Complete with 48 mounted color plates after watercolors by W. Russell Flint. Each plate is preceded by a protective tissue guard upon which is printed a descriptive text in red. The original vellum bindings are minimally and unevenly darkened with patina by age. The texts are clean and unmarked. Printed in 1910 and 1911. Two Medici Society promotional leaflets are laid-in loosely. Height of books: 274mm. Height of slipcases: 287mm. First edition.
