Newly rebound in a quarter leather binding, a gilt-lettered leather spine label, with marbled paper-covered boards and new endpapers. Contains 17 of 18 folding plates, several of which have small tears some of which have been repaired, lacking plate 12. Previous owner's name neatly on the title page, but the text is clean and unmarked. Also contains: An Account of Mr. Horrox's Observation of the Transit of Venus in the Year 1639, and, of the Distances of all the Planets from the Sun, as deduced from Observations of the Transit in the Year 1761.
