[xii], 226 pages of text, followed by [i] page containing a list of the contents. Original full leather binding with both hinges repaired, with visible wear. Illustrated with an engraved frontis, engraved title page, initials and head and tail pieces. Lawrence Strangman bookplate on front paste-down endpaper. Minor browning to the edges of the first and final few pages, and a small tear to the bottom of the title page, with the text remaining clean and unmarked. The front endpapers and first two pages have minor wrinkling to the bottom corner. No author listed: Richard Allestree (1619-1681). Wing A1149. First edition.
