Contemporary decorated calf boards, with some scratching, peeling and wear, refurbished; rebacked in leather with raised bands and a new gilt-stamped spine label. New endpapers, retaining two original endpapers at the rear. The first three leaves were professionally and archivally light-bleached which removed most of the foxing.
