Original pictorial front cover was retained and affixed to the inside of the front cover. New black endpapers. The text has moderate soiling, foxing, and a few pages have small tears. Beautifully illustrated with 99 designs in black and red by Willy Pogany. The compiler, William Jenkyn Thomas (1870-1959) was a Welsh headmaster and folklorist.
