Bound in the original pink printed paper wrappers, which are unevenly faded, slightly soiled, worn and creased, with a few small chips and tears, and with many spines tastefully repaired. Complete with 26 engraved plates by Phiz. Preliminary pages bound in at the end of Part XII/XIII. Includes a 3/4 maroon leather open-topped Solander box by Bayntun, with finger elevator hole at bottom; minor shelfwear and rubbing.
