Original full leather binding with hinges and spine extremities repaired, and new spine label, is moderately worn. The title page is browned at the top edge. Previous owner's name on the top margin of the page [iii]: Rd Michell. This is presumably the ownership mark of Richard Rooke Michell (1810-1872) the English mines proprietor who focused on copper and tin mining. A few early ink corrections to text, and minor soiling and staining. Minor bumping to text corners, resulting in minor creasing. First edition in English.
