Dutton & Co., New York. Three maroon leather spine labels. Top edge gilt. Minimal shelfwear. Marbled endpapers. The text is clean and unmarked, though the original wrappers are slightly soiled. The end of the introduction is dated December, 1869, which is imprinted at the bottom of the spine.
