Original red and black decorative stiff paperback binding is slightly sunned on the spine, with a small area of lost color to the top of the front cover, a tiny bump to the lower corner, and other minor shelfwear; protected in custom-fitted archival Mylar. Contains a color frontispiece and numerous black and white reproductions in the text. Inscribed, signed and with a drawing of crossed artist pencil and paintbrush tied together in ribbon on the half-title page "To Joseph Bradley with all my best wishes and heartiest greetings [signed] George Grosz [artwork] Huntington February 1954." A few spots of foxing to several pages of text, not affecting the half-title page. Measures 10" (height) (253mm). First edition.
