The original dustjacket is lacking; facsimile dustjacket supplied. Inner front hinge beginning to crack. Author's 2nd book. With an introduction by Edmund Wilson. Second American edition, revised, with "1931" printed on the title page and "1930" printed on the copyright page with no mention of additional printings. Exactly the same as the Second American edition; this one may be one of the December 1930 reprints printed in an edition of 1035 copies. Previous owner's name neatly on the inside front cover. The text is clean and unmarked.
