Letter excerpt: "I am just leaving [New York] for England and very busy, but should like to see you for a short time if we can fix it...we will see what can be done." Postcard excerpt: "I am afraid I haven't the time to deal with a second questionnaire...I do not dislike doctors, the 'Way of All Flesh' made an impression on me..."
