Contains 108 leaves of unnumbered text (216 pages). Complete with 60 engravings on 50 sheets, plus an additional suite of 7 engravings. All 67 illustrations are in black and white. Original full leather binding is moderately worn, with the hinges weakened and starting to split. Binder identified by "HB" monogram. There are a few tiny spots of staining to the margins, or the exterior edge of the plates, but the text is otherwise generally clean. Book height measures 11.5" (291mm). First edition.
