The spine has been expertly rebacked by a conservator in black cloth with an extra set of endpapers added. In the section regarding Orlando Mack, his Grandfather Solomon Mack's children are listed. They include "Lucy, who married Joseph Smith. She was the mother of Joseph Smith the Mormon Prophet." Minor soiling to a few pages of text, which is otherwise clean and unmarked. The author is identified in the text as a Minister of the Butler Presbyterian Church. First edition.
