The original unclipped dustjacket is slightly darkened on the spine, with minor chipping mainly to the top edge, minor soiling mainly to the rear panel, a few small tears and small spots of soiling, and small spots of minor discoloration on the reverse from old tape repairs; protected in archival Mylar. Contains 14 illustrations including portraits and reproductions of propaganda illustrations. Some page edges with minor rippling. Previous owner's light pencil inscription on the half title page. Previous owner's illustrated bookplate on the inside front cover: F. Tennyson Jesse. Fryniwyd Tennyson Jesse Harwood (1888-1958) was an English journalist, author, criminologist and cartoonist. The text is clean and unmarked.
