Photograph signed by Paderewski in remembrance of March 24, the date of the 1794 Kosciuszko Uprising. Inscribed in French "su souvenir du 24 Mars N.Y. [signed] I.J. Paderewski." Sepia photograph measures 7" wide by 11.5" (height). Paderewsk, also a pianist and composer, during his political career signed the Treaty of Versailles which ended World War I. Attractively framed, which measures 13.75" x 18.25". The portrait is a striking half-length image of the young, frazzle-haired virtuoso.
