24 pages. Maroon cloth binding with moderatel shelfwear; protected in archival Mylar. Illustrated with reproductions of drawings by Sylvia Plath. The edition was limited to 150 copies, the introduction of the first 75 copies being signed by Ted Hughes. This copy is not numbered, and is not signed by Hughes. It is inscribed and signed on the limitation page "Out of series, one of a handful of bound sheets for our friends [signed] Moelwyn Merchant." There is a note in the book which states: This book was given by Moelwyn Merchant, when he retired from the Chair of English at the University of Exeter, to John Dancy, who gave it in turn to his niece Alison Bryant on her twenty first birthday, 19 May, 1987.
