There is no engraved title page present, and it is illustrated with just 22 of 30 plates: INCOMPLETE. The plates are hand-colored, and many are soiled or smudged in the margins. Original binding with a gilt-stamped leather spine and corners, and marbled paper-covered boards is moderately rubbed to the extremities. Small primitive drawing on the front endpaper, and a rectangular piece of decorative paper which could be obscuring a former owner's name or bookplate. First edition.
